Center Stage
welcomes you to our dance program. We offer professional
classes with quality instruction for students ages 2 to
adult. Our classes range from beginner to competitive
levels in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and
dance-poms. Our mission is to develop the full potential
of each student by stressing proper fundamentals, giving
encouragement, and focusing on the needs of every dancer
in a structured, yet fun environment.
Center Stage is widely recognized
as having one of the best and most well-rounded dance
programs in the state! We are honored to have this
reputation, and we will do our best to live up to your
expectations. Our staff this year is not only comprised
of dance professionals, but also teaching experts. We
are confident your children will have both a valuable
learning experience, and a great time! We look forward
to sharing our passion for dance with you this dance
season
Registration
All
current students may register now. If you did not attend
summer classes, you may register starting Monday, August
11th.
You may register at the studio during our office hours
Monday-Thursday 4:30p.m. – 7:30p.m (through August 14).
If you cannot come during office hours, there
will be a walk-in registration on Wednesday, Aug. 20th
from 4:30-7:30pm and Tuesday, Aug. 26th from 4:30-7:30.
Fall Classes begin Thursday, September 4th You may also register
by mail. Please complete the attached Form with payment
and mail to:

Tuition
Tuition is due on the first of every month. If the
office is closed, you may use the drop box. * A
$10.00 late fee will be charged after a 7 day grace
period. * A $20.00 fee will be charged for any
returned checks. * Walk-in classes are $15 per hour
Prices are based on hours per week, per family.

Spring Break Monday, March 30, 2009 thru Sunday, April 5, 2009
If less than five students enroll in a class, it will be
cancelled.
You will be notified by phone 1 week prior
to the start date.
Register
by mail with the attached
registration form. Make sure
the form is filled in completely, please include your
email address, the WAIVER
completed/signed, and a check made payable to Center
Stage is attached. Phone request & Registrations
without payment will NOT be accepted. If there is a
question or a conflict with a desired class, day or
time, please call the studio office at 630-529-9080,
and an alternate class will be suggested.

Class Attire
Center Stage now carries all dance shoes
Ballet:
Solid color leotard, pink tights
(Girls: pink leather ballet shoes, Boys: black leather
ballet shoes)
Tap:
Solid color leotard, tights/dance pants, black tap shoes
Jazz:
Solid color leotard, tights/dance pants, black slip-on
jazz shoes
Lyrical:
Solid color leotard, tan tights, tan slip-on jazz shoes
Hip-Hop:
Solid color leotard, tights/dance pants, black hip-hop
sneakers
Boys:
Solid color T-shirt, solid color sweatpants/dance pants

Hair MUST ALWAYS be pulled up and away from face.
Make Up Classes
Classes that are missed may be made up during that month
in a similar class. Any class that is not made up will
be forfeited. We will not credit missed classes.

For serious dancers
interested in attending dance competitions, Center Stage
offers one of the best and most well-rounded competitive
dance teams in the state. Students are required to
attend additional classes and rehearsals to better equip
them for competition.
Jazz Company requirements: Jazz company class, 1
jazz tech class, 2 ballet tech classes.
Tap Company requirements: Tap company class, ½
hour tap technique class,
1 ballet or lyrical class, 1
jazz class.
Hip-Hop Company requirements: Hip-hop company
class, a weekly hip-hop class.
Lyrical Company requirements: Be part of a Jazz
Company.

Placement Evaluations
If you are new to Center Stage, but have previous dance
experience,
you may call to schedule a placement
evaluation.
Studio Communication
All studio communication will be done via e-mail. Please
ensure that your registration form includes a valid
