Center Stage News
December Newsletter
Happy Holidays!!
We would like to remind everyone that our
Christmas break begins Saturday, December 20th.
Classes will resume on Friday, January 2nd.
We hope everyone has a merry Christmas, and a
great holiday season!
This years recital will be June 12th and
13th, so mark your calendars.
Dress rehearsal will be Thursday, June 12th.
The recital and
dress rehearsal will be held at
Larkin High
School in
Elgin.
We are still working on which date each class
will be performing, so please keep all three days open
until further notice.
Costumes have been selected and have been posted in the
hallway for you to view.
If your child is in between sizes, it may help to
look at the style/fit of the costume before making your
decision. In
addition, it might be helpful to look at what size
costume your child had last year and compare.
Please be prompt turning in your size selection
so we can get our costume orders out in December.
If we do not receive an order form and payment
for your child’s costume by December 6th, we will assume
that your child will not be performing in the recital.
Therefore, he/she will not be ordered a costume.
Please notify us immediately if you know
your child will not be participating in the recital.
Remember that any child enrolled in a Pom/Dance
class will have a $18.00 extra charge added to their
costume fee for the poms.
The poms will be yours to keep.
If you have any questions regarding costumes,
please feel free to call the office.
A huge thank you to everyone that participated in the
donation for the troops. We will be accepting additional
donation through December 12th.
We are hoping to fill several boxes of goods to
send out to them.
We greatly appreciate everyone’s support!
Center Stage Jackets and dance bags should be arriving
soon!! You
may pick them up in the office during regular business
hours, Monday-Friday 4:30-7:30. (We are hoping to have
them by Friday December 5th.)
Congratulations to the Smolinski family; they are the
first winners of the Center Stage Vehicle Sticker
Contest. If
you have not yet received a Center Stage decal & would
like to register for the monthly prize, you may do so in
the office.
If you are already registered, there is no need to
re-register. All
names will be kept on file through May.
Good Luck!!!
If you are enrolled in a Hip-hop class and have not
picked up your Hip-hop shoes yet, now would be a great
time to do so.
Many dancers are getting Hip-hop shoes for
Christmas!
Joey Scudiero, Kali Callahan, and Carlie Tornatore have
been selected as the December students of the month.
Joey and Carlie were selected for their hard-work
and improvement. Kali was picked for being a good team
leader and help to Ms. Candie.
Thanks girls and keep up the good work!
